In Cuba, the recent reforms on access to property, foreign travel and trade liberalization have led to a social phenomenon which is becoming daily more scale in cities: the transformation of family houses in shops, restaurants, hairdressing salon and more.

Antonio and Alexei are the proud owners of Santa Clara’s first fashion store for decades. With the money generated by the sale of merchandise supplied by black market sellers and cubans from the diaspora, they have turned their home into a shop.
